We have over 85 Thule roof boxes available for hire and can accommodate hires at short notice.
We fit roof bars and roof boxes up to 9pm in the evening.
Car Roof Box Rental
THULE probably make the best roof boxes in the world. All boxes have THULE's quick fit claw system. All boxes also have hinges which ensure the lid remains open whilst you are loading and unloading your items.
The most common boxes we hire have between 440 and 480 litres of capacity. To put the size in to perspective, a hatchback such as a Volkswagen Golf has a boot capacity of 370 litres and probably takes three suit cases.
Most roof boxes stipulate a maximum weight of 75kgs. Again to put that in perspective, the airlines put a maximum loading of 20 to 25kgs per suit case.
You are welcome to come by and take a look to see if you think its suits your car or not. We are also happy to discuss your needs, however it is far better to message us first to outline what you want.
Car Roof Bar Hire
To carry a Roof Box you need bars that run ACROSS (passenger to driver side) your roof, not to be confused with Roof Rails which run front to back on some cars.
THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS UNIVERSAL ROOF BAR FITTINGS
Each car has a different roof profile and you need a roof bar, fitting kit and foot pack combination, which is unique to your car.
We hold most Thule roof bar set ups in stock, and when we don't have them available, we source them for your hire.
We ONLY fit Thule parts which have been specifically manufactured for your vehicle. You will have up to 75kgs of weight on your roof and if you are traveling at 70mph you need to ensure the roof box remains on your roof and not in the windscreen of the vehicle behind you.
